This certification adds another advanced robotic platform to my expertise, further strengthening my ability to perform robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement surgeries with greater precision and personalization.
MAKO is an advanced robotic-arm assisted system designed to help surgeons perform total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, and total hip replacement with exceptional accuracy. Unlike conventional techniques, MAKO uses a patient-specific surgical plan based on a CT scan, allowing for precise implant positioning while preserving healthy bone and soft tissues whenever possible.
The robotic system does not replace the surgeon. Instead, it enhances the surgeon's expertise by providing real-time feedback and improved accuracy throughout the procedure.
